Jen Stucky came and got Marie Clark the morning of Dec. 8 and they went back to Newton to watch Marie’s great-grandchildren play basketball. In the afternoon, Peg Van der Weg and Jen took Marie to Wichita and she visited with Joyce Barker while Jen and Peg did some shopping.
Marie went to church with Jen and returned home.
Marie attended Hadlye Clark’s elementary school Christmas program with Mack and Shayla Clark. Shayla’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lofton, also attended the program.
Josh Wiebe, Seth and Faith went to Whitewater the evening of Dec. 9 and helped the family celebrate Grandma Schwindt’s birthday.
On Dec. 4, Dusty Gaines and Ronnie and Patti Gaines attended Brooke Gaines’s elementary school Christmas program at Emporia. The evening of Dec. 8, Ronnie and Patti attended Brooke’s ballet recital in Emporia.
Dec. 9 dinner guests of Lawrence and Lois Sayers were Bruce Sayers and Sandy Sayers.
Norma Clark was hostess of the 20th Century Club December meeting on Dec. 10. Members attending were the hostess, Norma, Sherol Nightengale, Rhonda Brenzikofer, Marie Clark, Lois Sayers, and Joyce Kyle. Gail Topham was a guest.
