Cecil and Jacque Wiebe hosted a pre-Thanksgiving dinner for their children, Alan and Judy Braun and Dakota; Josh and Ashley Wiebe, Seth, Faith, and Devon; Curtis and Betty Wiebe, Lawson, Rose, and Georgia; and Melvin and Cindy Busenitz, Jill, Andre, Tyrel, and Jordan.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers’ evening visitors Oct. 20 were her cousin Sheila and Gunner Lebherr. Afternoon visitors Oct. 21 were Gilbert and Venita Loewen. Oct. 22, Kenny and Kaleen Miller called in the afternoon. Sandy Sayers went to her parents’ home on Oct. 23 and they all went to the mall at Newton.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines met Ty and Kim Gaines and Brooke in Emporia the evening of Oct. 18 and Brooke came home with them. Dusty Gaines came to his parents’ home on Oct. 20 and they went to Walter’s Pumpkin Patch. On Oct. 21, they took Brooke back to Emporia for dance and gymnastics and she returned home with her parents.
Marie Clark and Larry and Diane Nelson left Oct. 17 to visite Marie’s brothers, Wilbur Ehmke and Bruce Ehmke in Bowling Green, Ohio. They attended a family reunion of approximately 50 people on Oct. 21, and returned home Oct. 23, reporting a good trip.
Kathleen Brenzikofer fell and broke her leg. She had surgery on Oct. 22, and is recovering well.
Jim and Beulah Gehring called on Joyce Kyle in the afternoon on Oct. 19. Bob and Braxton Kyle called the following morning.
Joyce called on Evelyn Sidener the afternoon of Oct. 20 and then went to work at the United Methodist Church Bazaar.
