Joyce Kyle met Bob and Dawn Van Tuyl Moews of Emporia at noon Sept. 22 at the Burns Café. They came to pick up a friendship quilt on which Dawn’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Van Tuyl, and an aunt, Edna Mae Van Tuyl, were named.
Dusty Gaines of Wichita was a visitor of his parents, Ronnie and Patti Gaines, on Sept. 22.
Sandy Sayers of El Dorado came to help her mother, Lois Sayers, get ready for 20th Century Club on Sept. 24. Those attending were Rhonda Brenzikofer, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Norma Clark, Marie Clark, Sherol Nightengale, and Joyce Kyle.
Lunch guests of Marie Clark on Sept. 24 were Lisa Johnson, Colton and Jarret of Marion, and Brooke Johnson and fiancé, Justin of Arizona. Brooke and Justin came to announce their engagement to Grandma Marie.
