Burdick cancels Labor Day
Burdick’s annual Labor Day celebration has been canceled because of uncertainty over COVID-19.
“We feel that it is in the best interest of the community and those who attend that we don’t put anyone at risk with the events that we had planned,” Connie Johnson said on behalf of the Burdick Council of Clubs.
A community worship is still planned for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 6 at the community tennis court.
“There is enough space to properly social distance, and the crowd will be smaller than what we would have on Monday,” Johnson said.
