Bown-Corby developer Tom George said Tuesday he’s hoping to have the Marion apartments ready to accept tenants in the second week of January, though it could be later.
“For sure it’ll be open by Feb. 1,” he said.
George had previously hoped to open the apartments for lease by mid-December or early January, but took extra time in order to finalize some cosmetics.
“We decided to go with nicer upper cabinets, and we wanted to pick the color scheme so it would be more desirable,” George said. “It turned out really good though.”
Monthly rent for the apartments, which range from studio size to two-bedroom, will be somewhere from $300 to $800, George said.
He said there will be an open house to show the apartments but no date has been set.
