USD 398 Superintendent Ron Traxson reported to the board of education Monday that the yearbook DVD for the 2011-12 school year will be available by Jan. 1.
Last year was the first year it was published as a DVD, and several glitches had to be worked out, Paxton said. He said the 2012-13 DVD appears to be on track to be available by the end of the school year or shortly thereafter.
Board members will not be receiving packets of material in the mail for the January 14 meeting. Instead, in an effort to go paperless, they will be given computers at the meeting with the material downloaded on them.
The board accepted a finalized list of goals and priorities for the school district.
Several FFA members attended the meeting to report on their trip to the National FFA Convention in November.
The board approved a new USD 398 Transportation Handbook that will be distributed during Christmas vacation and be in effect for the second semester.
In January, deputy clerk Lisa Hodges will assume the position of board clerk.
