Blood mobile coming on Valentine’s Day

American Red Cross and Elvis Presley Enterprises have teamed up to encourage blood donations during January and February, the two slowest months for blood donations.

Donors who participate in Peabody from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church will receive a specially designed Elvis T-shirt and will be entered in the “Ultimate Elvis Sweepstakes” for a chance to win and expense-paid trip for two to Las Vegas or a VIP expense-paid trip for two to Memphis.

A canteen will serve donors a nutritious snack. Donors should be 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health.
