Kaiden Tyler Newman was born July 17, 2008, at Darnall Army Community Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas. He is the son of Jesse and Heidi Newman of Copperas Cove, Texas.

He weighed 5 pounds 5 ounces and was 18 inches long.

He has a sister, Hayli Marie, 3, and brother, Jace, 2.

Grandparents are Wade and Bev Knust and Jesse and Dawn Newman, all of Peabody, and Brenda Dannelly of Chanute.

Great-grandparents are Pat K. Henderson and Gary and Shelia Roach of Peabody, Kenneth and Jean Jost of Hillsboro, and Nancy Wilson and Robert Coble of Chanute.

William Myers of Chanute is the children’s great-great-grandfather.
