Kevin and Cheryl Brewer of Peabody announce the birth of their second son, Cooper James, born June 18, 2008, at Newton Medical Center.

He weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 19¾ inches long.

Cooper has an eight-year-old brother, Kolton.

Grandparents are James and Carol Brewer of Peabody and Paul and Kathy Oliver of Augusta.

Great-grandparents are Darlene Turner of Emporia, Mary McVay of Augusta, and the late James McVay.
