Curtis and Kristen Gray proudly announce the birth of their first child, a daughter, Claire Ann Gray.

She was born at 11:57 p.m. Oct. 18, 2012 at Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita.

She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Claire’s paternal grandparents are Ernest and Lou Ann Gray of Peabody and her maternal grandparents are William and Deborah Hooper of Wichita.

Paternal great-grandparents are Fordyce and Marge Gray of Peabody and Cecilia Schemmer and the late Wilfred Schemmer of Great Bend.

Maternal great-grandparents are Lois Dean Hooper and the late Raymond Hooper of Wichita and the late Trella Roberts of Florida.
