Betty Baker
Betty Florine Baker, 87, of Newton, died May 4 at Newton Medical Center, Newton.
Born July 30, 1923, in Wichita, to William and Mable (Lambert) Dilley, she was a registered nurse in the Newton school district.
On Dec. 31, 1944, she married Robert E. Baker.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, of Newton; two sons, Bill of Wichita and Don of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday at Central Community Church, Wichita. The Rev. Dale Lewis and Dean Merrill officiated.
Burial was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
A memorial fund has been established with Newton Presbyterian Manor in care of Baker Funeral Home, 114 N Sycamore St, Peabody KS 66866.
