No makeup meet for bowlers

Peabody-Burns Athletic Director Ray Savage has announced makeup days for athletic events that have been canceled due to inclement weather.

The Warriors basketball games at White City, originally scheduled for Jan. 11, will be played at White City on Friday.

All games will be played in one gymnasium, beginning at 4 p.m. Junior varsity games will be played in six-minute quarters rather than eight-minute quarters.

Tomahawk teams scheduled to play at Wakefield on Jan. 20 will instead take to the Wakefield court on Thursday. Games will begin at 5:45 p.m. with junior varsity boys and 6 p.m. with varsity girls playing in separate gymnasiums.

The Warrior Bowling team event scheduled for Jan. 11 will not be rescheduled.
