Athletes honored for character

Marion High School has named Addy Davis and Christopher Beery its Champions of Character student athletes for September.

Davis was recognized for the respect she shows teammates and facilities and the helpfulness she brings in cleaning up after games.

Beery was honored for his sportsmanship, specifically after Marion’s last home cross-country meet.

After finishing, he fist-bumped other runners as they came in to show respect and appreciation.
