Art and Music Stroll is June 1

Staff writer

Main St. Merchants gathered Monday to finalize plans for the Art and Music Stroll on June 1.

More than 20 stops will be included on the stroll, beginning with Gallery 101 and including a new stop at Prairie Oaks Alpaca Shop featuring soft serve ice cream.

Several businesses will be open including Sew What where a Quilts of Valor sewing circle will be held, Central Park Antiques, Bearly Makin’ It Antiques, HRK, TC’s What Not Shop, Flint Hills Gold, and several others. Scattered between those businesses will be artists such as Belinda Skiles, Susan Bartel, and Emma Ehart to name a few and many musicians. Roy Patton, Tom Myers and Friends will play in the gazebo at Liberty Park.

The event will take place from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. The Marion County Tourism bus will take residents from Gallery 101 to HRK. Mule-pulled wagon rides will also be available.
