Arnold Voth

Arnold H. Voth, 98, died Sunday at Bethesda Home, Goessel.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bethesda Home Chapel, Goessel. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Tabor Mennonite Church. Burial will be in Tabor Cemetery.

He was born Sept. 3, 1917, to John and Katherine Voth at Goessel. He was a farmer and rancher and a member of Tabor Mennonite Church. He served on Walton Coop board, Goessel school board, and other local boards. On June 11, 1948, he married Wilma Unruh at Newton; she preceded him in death in 2007.

He also was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Dirks and Irma Koehn.

Survivors include: a son, Rodney Voth of Hillsboro; three daughters, Annette Voth of Elbing, Lois Voth of The Woodlands, Texas, and Ellen Voth of Portland, Oregon; a brother, Bill Voth of Walton; a sister, Elvera Voth of North Newton; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Memorials are requested for Bethesda Home or Mennonite Central Committee.
