Arlene Unruh

Services for Arlene Ruth Unruh, 89, Peabody, who died Nov. 24 at Peabody Health and Rehab, will be at a later date.

Private burial will be at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.

Born June 21, 1931, in Hillsboro to Peter and Marie Penner, she married Roy Unruh on Aug. 17, 1950.

They moved to Peabody in 1967 and purchased Peabody Sausage House, which they operated for 27 years.

Survivors include daughters Cynthia and Marilyn, son Duane, 2 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Memorial funds have been established with Peabody United Methodist Church and Peabody Senior Center.
