Archie M Riggs, 75, Peabody, died March 6 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.

He was born Feb. 20, 1942 to Archie and Virginia Coons in Hoisington.

He is survived by a son, Jason Riggs of Moundridge; a daughter, Jewel Martin of Tonasket, Washington; one stepson, Keith Schmidt of Arthur, Illinois; one stepdaughter, Marla Campbell of Newton; nine grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Two sisters, Bonnie Riggs and Shirley Burrton, and a step-granddaughter, Jodi Campbell preceded him in death.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Meridian Mennonite church in Hesston with inurnment in the church cemetery.
