Antique car club may visit Marion on Saturday
Staff writer
Approximately 35 antique cars with about 70 passengers may visit Marion around 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
However, the group’s visit is largely dependent on weather, owner of Prairie Oak Alpaca Gift Shop Jeff Methvin said.
“If it rains they probably won’t want to drive their cars up from our farm,” Methvin said. “If they come, they will probably park at Central Park to get some ice cream at our store. They might also do some antiquing around town.”
He said the antique car club is scheduled to visit his Prairie Oak Alpaca Farm in the morning, and possibly eat lunch in Peabody before they make the trip up to Marion.
