Annual fruit sale under way for Peabody-Burns bands

Peabody-Burns band members are now holding their annual fruit sale. Students are taking orders for high quality fresh fruit — including oranges, grapefruit, pears, and three kinds of apples: red delicious, gold delicious, and granny smith.

Mixed boxes of oranges, grapefruit, and red apples are also available.

Other items available this year include 25 lb. box of roasted peanuts, 25 lb. box of salted peanuts, Yoder Meats gift bag (two 12 ounces summer sausages, one eight ounces Alma cheddar cheese, one eight ounces Alma marble cheese), Yoder Meats football summer sausage, Yoder Meats candy gift bag (16 ounces peanut brittle, 12 ounces pecan brittle, 12 ounces English toffee), Yoder Meats jerky bag (three ounces Beef jerky, three ounces buffalo pemmican, three ounces elk pemmican), and butter braids frozen pastries (available in original, cherry, apple, cinnamon, and cream cheese).

New items this year include a Yoder Meats Heini’s Cheese gift bag (eight ounces smoked cheddar, eight ounces marble, eight ounces fiesta jack, eight ounces garden vegetable), Yoder Meats gourmet popcorn gift bag (six ounces chocolate avalanche, six ounces blizzard, six ounces cherry cordial, six ounces river button crunch), Yoder Meats pretzel logs gift bag (peanut butter, Kansas, turtle, caramel), Yoder Meats homemade party mix, and Yoder Meats Ma’s Salsa gift bag (15.5 ounces mild salsa, 15.5 ounces hot salsa, 15.5 ounces peach salsa, 15.5 ounces pineapple salsa).

Prices are listed in an ad in this issue.

Orders will be taken through Nov. 30, with fruit arriving during the second or third week of December.
