Steve and Melody Magette arrived in the afternoon Nov. 30 at the Ammeter farm to help LaVonne Ammeter get ready for Thanksgiving. They cooked the turkey and made a pumpkin pie. The Magettes were overnight company.

On Thanksgiving Day, Kevin and Emily Haxton, Avery and Elyse, arrived from Ellsworth for Thanksgiving dinner at LaVonne’s. Stan Ammeter joined them.

After dinner Melody, Elyse, and Emily put up LaVonne’s Christmas tree and decorations. They all went back to Ellsworth after supper. Blaine and Carol Ammeter arrived late in the evening and stayed until Sunday evening.

Blaine and Carol went Nov. 26 to Don and Marjorie Gfeller’s to spend the day. Carol’s sister Donna and husband Gary were visiting from Pennsylvania.

Blaine, Carol, and LaVonne went to Sunday school and church on Nov. 27. After dinner, Blaine and Carol went back to Ellinwood.

Michele Hartnagel of Florence visited LaVonne late in the afternoon and Karen, a friend of LaVonne’s from Colorado, stopped by with her son in the evening.

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Manhattan and Sally’s mom Opal Craney, had been to Maple Grove, Minn. for Thanksgiving and stopped by LaVonne’s for lunch and visiting on Nov. 29. After lunch, they took Opal back to her apartment at Peabody Care Center and then went home.
