On Oct. 13, Blaine Ammeter took LaVonne Ammeter to Burns for a class reunion. The Burns High School classes of 1948, 1949, and 1950 got together. Thirty-five alumni attended the lunch and reunion meeting.
Blaine and Carol Ammeter came to LaVonne Ammeter’s on Oct. 12 in the evening and stayed all night.
On the reunion committee to plan this year’s event were Charlie and Iris Bayes, Harold and Naomi Brenzikofer, and Don and Marjorie Gfeller. The class members voted to have another reunion next October.
After Blaine took LaVonne home, Stan Ammeter came to visit for awhile. Blaine went to Don and Marjorie Gfeller’s with Carol to see Richard Gfeller and daughter Rhonda and visit with them. They returned to LaVonne’s to spend the night.
On Oct. 14, Blaine went to El Dorado and Carol got lunch. Adam and Crystal Magette and Lucas of Wamego arrived at the farm for lunch and visiting. Stan joined them for lunch and then Carolyn Holm, Rose Watts, and Kathryn arrived to visit in the afternoon.
On Oct. 15, Sherol Nightengale and Dorene Kirkpatrick came to spend the afternoon.
