Many visitors call at the Ammeter home

On Oct. 3, Steve and Melody Magette arrived at LaVonne Ammeter’s from Ellsworth to spend the day doing many jobs. Stan Ammeter came for lunch. After supper, the Magettes returned home.
On Oct. 5, Mack Clark came by LaVonne’s and visited a while. Stan came by later for supper.
Myron and Sally Ammeter came to LaVonne’s on Oct. 7. They all went to Peabody Care Center, picked up Sally’s mother, Opal Craney, and went to church services at Peabody United Methodist Church. It was World Wide Communion Sunday. They saw many dear old friends.
After church, they went to Newton for lunch and returned to the farm to spend some time visiting. Myron and Sally took Opal back to Peabody and then returned home to Manhattan.
On Oct. 9, Melody and Steve Magette came back to LaVonne’s from Ellsworth to spend the day. Stan came for lunch. A neighbor, Lisa Clark, came in the afternoon to visit and later Michelle Boese and Dylan arrived to visit LaVonne. Melody and Steve returned home in the late afternoon.
