On Sept. 20, Steve and Melody Magette came to the Ammeter farm from Wichita. They had been to see “The Lion King” and they stayed overnight.
Myron and Sally Ammeter arrived in the early afternoon on Sept. 21 to visit with LaVonne and the Magette’s. They were on their way to the Saturday Kansas State University football game in Oklahoma. The Magettes returned to Ellsworth late afternoon.
On Sept. 22, Blaine and Carol Ammeter of Ellinwood and Gary Davis of Newton arrived in the afternoon and Stan Ammeter came for supper. They all watched the football game. Gary returned to Newton after the game and Blaine and Carol spent the night.
After dinner on Sept. 23, Blaine and Carol went to Carol’s folks, Don and Marge Gfeller, for the afternoon and then returned home. Marie Clark called on LaVonne in the evening to visit.
On Sept. 25, Emily Haxton and Melody Magette stopped by LaVonne’s in the late afternoon on their way home to Ellsworth from Wichita. Melissa Ramsey stopped by to visit and Stan brought groceries from Peabody.
