Steve and Melody Magette and LaVonne Ammeter went Nov. 2 to El Dorado to take some things to Good Will, shop, have lunch together, and keep an appointment. Arriving back home, they watched an old family video and then had supper before the Magettes returned to Ellsworth.
John Boese stopped by Ammeter’s home for a while the evening of Nov. 3.
On Nov. 5, Donella Humphries came to the Ammeter farm and took Ammeter to Peabody for groceries. After lunch, Donella returned home. Later, Ammeter rode to Peabody with Michele Boese.
Gary Davis came by on Nov. 6. He and Ammeter went to church at Ebenezer. Stan Ammeter joined them for dinner.
Nov. 7 was peppernut day at Peabody Senior Center and LaVonne Ammeter went to the center for lunch and helped with the peppernuts.
On Nov. 8, Ammeter went to Burns for the senior potluck dinner. She enjoyed visiting with Don and LaVerna Parrish and Raymond and Elsie Hiebert from Hesston. They all lived at Burns some time ago. James Olberding made chili for everyone to enjoy. Gayla Ratzlaff shared pictures of the mountains in Colorado and an adventure had by Gayla and her daughter.
