Alta Mae Huffington 93, died Nov. 24 at Peabody Health and Rehabilitation in Peabody. No services are planned.

She was born Nov. 4, 1925, in Florence.

She is survived by sons Alvin Remmers of Davis, California, Warren Remmers of Wichita, Kenneth Remmers, Eugene Remmers, and Duane Remmers, all of Lincolnville; daughter, Lois Hayes of New Cambria; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Alta Mae was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Audrey Jack Huffington; brothers, William Stamp, Lawrence Stamp, John Stamp Jr., and Robert Stamp; sisters Laura Robinson, and her twin Alice Uphoff; and one great-grandson.

Memorials can be given to the American Cancer Society or Good Shepherd Hospice.
