All racers encouraged to compete in pinewood derby

Cub Scout Pack 102 will have a pinewood derby after the Labor Day parade in Florence.

Anyone is eligible to race. Check-in is at 12:30 p.m. at the ambulance building, with races beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Cars can be purchased at the event for $5 or racers can use one raced previously.

Prizes for first place winners will be given.
