Adobe house to show off renovations Aug. 14

The Adobe House museum in Hillsboro will be open for a tour at 6 p.m. Aug. 14 after receiving a makeover inside and out this past year.

Starting at the visitors’ center, museum coordinator Steve Fast will conduct a tour of the house, mill, and schoolhouse for a cost of $5.

Marion County Historical Society is sponsoring the tour. Refreshments will be served after the tour, followed by a short meeting.
