These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-56/77 south of 220th Rd.

Lucas D. Stiles, 41, Herington, hit a deer at 1:46 a.m. July 2 with his 2014 Dodge Ram 2500, which sustained disabling damage to its hood and driver’s side and was towed.

Marion County Lake campground

Stacy L. Dunmire, Marion, reported that a hit-and-run driver caused minor damage between 9 and 10 p.m. July 3 to the rear bumper of her legally parked 2017 Ford Escape.

60th Rd. west of Remington Rd.

Emily Lewis, 24, Winfield, hit a deer at 8:01 a.m. Thursday with her 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, which sustained damage described as minor to its front and hood.

330th Rd. east of Falcon Rd.

A semi-trailer loaded with hay bales detached at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, tipped on its side, and dumped its contents into the driver’s side ditch.

The 1999 Freightliner semi, owned by Classic Xpress and driven by Lazaro C. Olguin-Gaxiloa, 48, both of the same address in Dimmitt, Texas, was hauling alfalfa for Warren Unruh of rural Tampa.

Sunflower Rd. south of 180th Rd.

Melissa L. Smith, 30, Marion, hit a deer at 11:26 a.m. Thursday with her 2018 GMC Acadia, which sustained damage described as minor to its front and hood.

Children Ella Smith, 2, and Maisie Smith, 6, were passengers in the sport-utility vehicle.

Diamond Rd. south of 220th Rd.

Two days after being listed as a victim in a third domestic disturbance since Feb. 25 involving her children, Lois A. Latham, 58, rural Lehigh, hit a deer at 9:49 p.m. Thursday with her 2008 Chevrolet Uplander.

The minivan remained drivable despite damage to its front.
