These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

250th Rd. west of US-56/77

Ryan A. Boldt, 30, rural Lincolnville, lost control of his 2008 Dodge Caravan at 5:30 p.m. March 27 while attempting to avoid a deer.

The minivan ran off the road to the left, striking an embankment and a tree and causing disabling damage to its front half and undercarriage. The vehicle was towed.

250th Rd. west of Zebulon Rd.

Austin C. Jackson, 29, Pratt, was taken by Marion ambulance to St. Luke Hospital, Marion, with an injured foot and pain from airbag deployment after he fell asleep and allowed a Union Pacific Railroad Ford F-250 he was driving to run off an icy road to the right at 7:09 a.m. March 28.

The pickup hit an embankment and rolled onto its side. It sustained undercarriage damage termed minor but was towed.

Lincolnville firefighters and first responders also were dispatched to the accident.

HILLSBORO

Illness and effects of medication may have contributed to Pamela D. Buller, 69, Hillsboro, missing a left turn from 3rd St. south onto Elm St. at 3:30 p.m. March 27.

Her 2012 Chevrolet Impala traveled 44 feet in a ditch, high-centering along the west side of Elm, according to assistant chief Randy Brazil’s report.

The car sustained undercarriage damage and was towed. Results of a blood test are pending, Brazil reported.
