These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Kanza Rd. south of 160th Rd.

Natalie M. Wiens, 32, Newton, hit a deer at 8:32 p.m. Oct. 20 with her 2017 Chevrolet Cruise. The car sustained damage to its hood and passenger side but could be driven away.

Indigo Rd. north of 140th Rd.

Sharon K. Suderman, 71, rural Hillsboro, hit a deer at 7:45 p.m. Oct. 25 with her 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, which sustained damage to its hood and driver’s side but remained drivable.

US-56 east of Old Mill Rd.

Bryce A. Shults, 23, Marion, hit a deer at 7:20 a.m. Friday with his 2016 Chrysler 200. Disabling damage to its entire front half caused the vehicle to be towed.

Remington Rd. south of 290th Rd.

Valerie M. Craney, 24, Lincolnville, hit a deer at 8:30 a.m. Friday with her 2013 Nissan Altima, which sustained damage to its front, hood, and driver’s side but could be driven away.

MARION

Main St. west of 3rd St.

Backing out of a diagonal parking stall at 10:45 a.m. Oct. 26, Garry W. Hamm, 77, Marion, drove his 2014 Ford Escape into the passenger side of an eastbound 2012 Chrysler Town and Country owned and driven by Joyce G. Duke, 91, Marion

Damage to both vehicles was estimated at more than minor, but neither vehicle was towed. No citations were issued.
