These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-56 east of Kanza Rd.

Brandy N. Shepherd, 38, Emporia, hit a deer at 9:45 p.m. May 17 with her 2017 Toyota Prius, which sustained front-end and undercarriage damage but still could be driven.

330th west of Jade Rd.

Jeffrey D. Martin, 49, Tampa, was injured at 5:27 a.m. Thursday but not taken to a hospital after his 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee hit a cow or bull owned by Edna Backhus, also of Tampa. Martin’s Jeep sustained disabling damage and was towed.

US-50 west of Yarrow Rd.

Timothy R. Miller, 57, Hutchinson, hit a deer at 6:10 p.m. Thursday with his 2022 Honda CR-V, which sustained disabling damage and was towed.
