These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

K-15 north of 180th Rd.

Jonathan T. Brandt, 23, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 6:56 a.m. Thursday with his 2008 Toyota RAV4.

K-256 west of US-77

Emily D. Lewis, 23, Marion, slid her 2012 Hyundai Sonata off the road and into a fence on slushy pavement at 7:53 a.m. Friday. Deputy Aaron Christner’s report states she may have been driving too fast for conditions, but no tickets were issued. The car was towed.

HILLSBORO

Ash St. at US-56

The right front tire of a 2010 Dodge Avenger owned by Rhian J. Swanson, 17, McPherson, fell off at 2:52 p.m. March 14 as she was driving north on Ash St.

Assistant chief Randal Brazil’s report states that lugs appeared to have sheared off and did not appear to have been tampered with. However, only two lugs and threads were found.

The Dodge sustained damage to its fender and was towed.
