These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Indigo Rd. north of 140th Rd.

James C. Baker, 76, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 6:44 p.m. March 4 with his 2014 Chrysler Town Car, causing what was described as moderate damage to the left front of his car. Elaine R. Baker, 73, of the same address was a passenger.

K-15 north of 230th Rd.

Two people were taken by ambulance to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, after a woman lost control of her 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee on icy, sleet-covered roads at 3:07 p.m. March 6.

The Jeep veered off K-15 to the right and struck a tree, causing significant damage to the Jeep’s front and left side.

Passenger Lacey C. Stewart, 43, of Manhattan suffered what were described as disabling injuries while driver Rachael E. Levitt, 38, of the same address was listed as being only possibly injured.

Levitt’s Jeep was towed.

US-56 east of Ridge Rd.

Jonathan L. Hawkins, 20, Baldwin City, slid his 1993 Chevrolet Corvette off the roadway to the left and into a bridge guardrail on slushy roads at 3:21 p.m. March 6.

The Corvette sustained moderate damage to its left rear but was not towed.

US-50 west of Union Rd.

An object that fell from or was kicked up by a semi-trailer at 5:50 p.m. March 7 caused what was described as minor damage to the windshield of a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze owned and driven by Danielle C. Green, 33, Marion County Lake.

Jameson Looper, 14, of the same address was a passenger.
