These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

K-15 south of 130th Rd.

Ronald L. Baltzell, 61, Salina, had to be extricated from a semi-trailer tractor and taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital after he oversteered at 4:35 p.m. Jan. 6 and drove his rig off the road to the left and then to the right before it turned onto its side.

The 2019 Kenworth, owned by Autohouse of Galva, which also was the wrecker service called to haul it away, was listed as destroyed in the accident.

No citations were issued.

290th Rd. west of Remington Rd.

Rustyn M. Kerbs, 28, Tampa, hit a deer at 6:27 p.m. Jan. 8 with his 2021 Nissan Altima, which sustained disabling damage and was towed.

Nighthawk Rd. north of 150th Rd.

Stephen B. GIllet, 56, Peabody, hit a deer at 5:50 p.m. Jan. 11 with his 2004 Chevrolet Classic.

Indigo Rd. north of 160th Rd.

Lonnie D. Langston, 22, Bullhead City, Arizona, hit a deer at 7:18 p.m. Jan. 11 while driving a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu owned by Brett L. Stewart of Emporia. Braxtyn T. Stewart, 22, of the same Emporia address was a passenger at the time.

180th Rd. west of Eagle Rd.

Donna Washmon, 59, rural Hillsboro, hit a deer at 6:27 p.m. Jan. 12 with her 1998 Chevrolet S-10 pickup.

US-77 sourth of 110th Rd.

Teresa K. Goodwin, 62, rural Burns, hit a deer at 6:16 p.m. Thursday with her 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup.

HILLSBORO

US-56 east of Adams St.

A piece of road debris of unknown origin damaged the windshield of a 2020 Lincoln Nautilus driven by its owner, Myca A. Soeken of McPherson, at 1 p.m. Dec. 30.

200 block of W. Grand Ave.

While attempting to do a J-turn at 10:30 a.m. Friday and depart in the opposite direction of his arrival, Aron L. Miller, 44, Hillsboro, backed his 1996 Toyota Tacoma into a 2017 Chevrolet Sonata owned by Jessica L. Walker of Hillsboro and legally parked across the street.
