These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

US-56 and US-77

Colin M. Grin, 26, Manhattan, attempted to slow down on a snow-covered road in his 2008 Saturn Aura and crashed into a roundabout at 7:35 a.m. Dec. 3. The accident broke the Saturn’s front driver-side tire loose and the vehicle was towed.

Indigo Rd. near 150th Rd.

Hailee D. Tilson-Guzman, 24, Newton, lost control of her 2017 Ford Fiesta on an icy road and crashed into an electrical pole at 8:18 a.m. Dec. 3. The Ford was towed.

US-56 near 270th Rd.

Terri A. Winter, 54, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 6:45 a.m. Dec. 5 with her 2016 Ford Fusion.

Indigo Rd. near 160th Rd.

Sara J-N. Miller, 33, Hillsboro tried to avoid hitting a deer at 3:56 a.m. Sunday with her 2016 Hyundai Sonata but instead she crashed into a bridge banister. The banister was not damaged, but the Hyundai was damaged across its passenger side and had to be towed.

400 block of Orchard Dr.

Don E. Arnold, 76, Hillsboro, hit a curb at 7:55 p.m. Saturday in his 2002 Nissan Fontier, crashed into a fire hydrant, and continued 183 feet before his vehicle came to rest in the grass.
