These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

Hillsboro

400 block of S. Jefferson St.

Krista M. Schneider, Marion, had her 2015 Acura TLX parked at Tabor College’s welcome center and said that when she returned to her vehicle after two hours there was a streak of green paint on the front-left fender.

1200 block of Commercial Dr.

Mary J. Meirowsky, Florence, was backing out of a parking stall in her 2012 Buick Encore at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of Commercial Dr. when she backed into a 2015 Ford Escape driven by David D. Smith, and owned by Effie M. Smith, both of Marion. The Ford’s driver’s side door and front fender were damaged. Damage to the Buick was cosmetic only and was popped back in place by Meirowsky’s passenger.

US-77 north of 230th Rd.

Adrian F. Ortega, 44, Junction City, hit a cow at 3:29 a.m. Aug. 14 with his 2017 Ford Escape. The Ford was towed.

Indigo Rd. north of 180th Rd.

Judy J. Christensen, 79, Marion, hit a dog at 8 a.m. Aug. 21 with her 2020 Chevrolet Equinox.

170th Rd. east of Pine Tree Drive

Johnathan L. Graham, 27, Lincolnville, lost control of his 2011Nissan Maxima at 11:23 p.m. Aug. 22 and hit the concrete barriers of a dam. The Nissan was towed.

US-50 east of Bluestem Rd.

Benjamin W. Poersch, 46, Emporia, hit a deer at 6:07 a.m. Aug. 26 with his 2020 Toyota Tacoma. The Toyota was towed.
