These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Nighthawk Rd. south of 190th Rd.

Kirshaw A. Stevens, 17, Peabody, lost control of a 2000 Buick LeSabre owned by Donna L. Stevens, Peabody. After hitting a rough spot in the road, the car veered into the opposite ditch and overturned. Stevens and his passengers, Donna L. Stevens, 63, and James H. Emerick, 10, both of Peabody, all reported possible injury but were not taken to a hospital. The car was towed. Undersheriff David Huntley’s report blamed the accident on road conditions and inattentive driving.

100 block of N. 3rd St.

A semi driving along N. 3rd St. reportedly knocked down a section of electrical wire at 2:15 p.m. June 29, scratching a parked 2011 Chevrolet Silverado owned by Trevor A. Kruse, Marion.

The semi, which left the scene, later was identified as a 2013 Freightliner driven by Isai Quintanilla, 26, Wichita, and owned by Trans Porte, Inc. No citations were issued.
