These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

K-15 north of 140th Rd.

Alicia A. Hamm, 49, Abilene, hit a deer with her 2000 Dodge Durango at 11:08 p.m. June 8. The Dodge was towed.

Cottonwood St. east of 9th St., Florence

Mark E. Slater, 55, Florence, drove his 2001 Ford F-15 into an unmarked culvert while trying to turn at 8:53 p.m. June 9.

Turkey Creek Rd. south of 160th Rd.

Passenger Matthew M. Frazier, 26, Peabody, grabbed the steering wheel and caused Lindsey E. Marshall, 44, Peabody, to drive her 2006 Honda Pilot into a ditch and through a fence at 10:30 p.m. June 9. The Honda was towed. Although deputy Larry Starkey reported aggressive and antagonistic driving was a cause in the accident, no citation was written.

US-50 west of Timber Rd.

Samuel A. Church, 42, Wichita, hit a deer with a 2016 Mack semi at 12:12 a.m. June 11. The semi, owned by Groendyke Transport, Enid, Oklahoma, was towed.

K-15 south of 250th Rd.

Walter L. Dietrich, 78, Tampa, hit a deer with his 2005 Chrysler Towncar at 8:02 a.m. June 12. Neither Dietrich nor his passengers, Martha I. Dietrich, 77, and Donald L. Witt, 78, both of Tampa, reported injury.

Hillsboro

600 block of Orchard Dr.

James M. Wullenweber, 77, rural Lincolnville, was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital for shoulder pain after crashing a vehicle into a light pole at 3:15 p.m. Sunday.

Wullenweber was driving a 2011 Toyota Camry owned by Tamara K. Klenda, of the same address, when he reached into his pocket for his wallet and veered off the road while going around a curve on Orchard Dr.

The Camry had damage across its front end and was towed.

200 block of N. Main St.

Sharon A. Schroeder, 73, Hillsboro, backed a truck into another vehicle at 12:10 p.m. Friday as she was pulling out from off-street parking.

Schroeder, driving a 2012 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck owned by her son, Marc S. Schroeder, Hillsboro, backed into the passenger side of a 2012 Ford Fusion driven by Joshua L. Friesen, 37, Hillsboro, in the 200 block of S. Main St.

The truck had damage to its driver’s side rear bumper and a cracked taillight, while Friesen’s passenger door mirror was broken and there was heavy damage to bother passenger-side doors.

Marion

400 block of N. Roosevelt St.

Linda K. Alkire, 78, Marion, crashed into a parked vehicle at 10 a.m. Saturday after abruptly swerving to avoid what she thought was a vehicle driving at her, according to accident reports.

Her 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer had taken a wide turn from E. Sherman St. onto N. Roosevelt St. and reacted to a parked mail truck facing the opposite direction.

Her vehicle ended up hitting a 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe owned by Travis L. Parmley, Marion, and damaged its front driver’s side wheel. Alkire’s vehicle sustained damage to its right front end near its bumper.
