These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

K-150 at US-56/US-77 roundabout

Brendan J. Reimer, 52, Hillsboro, slid on a snowy road at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 12 in a 1998 International semi owned by Pleasant Hill, Inc., Hillsboro. The semi struck signs and posts in the roundabout, coming to rest facing north on the west side of the roundabout.

US-56/US-77 roundabout north of 220th Rd.

Alexandrovich A. Shvartsburg, 48, Wichita, lost control of his 2008 Hyundai Azera on a snowy road at 8:40 a.m. Feb. 12, sliding into the trailer of a 2012 Kenworth Semi owned by BNSF Railway, Kansas City, Kansas, and driven by Steven R. Svoboda, 55, Lincolnville.

K-15 north of 170th Rd.

Emily C. Brown, 23, Clearwater, lost control of 2019 Honda Civic at 11:05 a.m. Feb. 12 while passing another car. The Honda entered slush on the roadway and struck a guardrail before veering across the road, striking another guard rail before coming to a stop. Brown was taken by ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. The Honda was towed.

K-256 west of Upland Rd.

Barbara A. Clay, 49, Florence, lost control of her 1999 Pontiac in a snowy roadway at 7:05 a.m. Feb. 12 and veered into the ditch and overturned. She had to be extracted from the vehicle and was taken by ambulance to St. Luke Hospital. The Pontiac was removed at a later time.

30th Rd. east of Limestone Rd.

Ahmed Al Hasoon, 25, Wichita, lost control of his 2005 Ford E250 on a snowy roadway at 7:51 a.m. Feb. 12l veering into a ditch, with the vehicle coming to rest on its side. Al Hasoon did not report injury. The Ford was towed.

US-50 east of Mustang Rd.

Andrea D. Arellano, 42, Newton, hit a deer at 1:55 a.m. Feb. 8 in a 2019 Chrysler 300 owned by Enterprise Rental.
