These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Limestone Rd. north of 180th Rd.

Eli R. Dalke, 15, Hillsboro, lost control of a 1994 Jeep Cherokee owned by Dale Dalke at 6:55 p.m. Oct. 23. The Jeep went into a ditch and overturned, coming to rest on its top. Neither Eli Dalke nor his passenger, Emery Dalke, 12, Hillsboro, reported injury.

US-56 west of Chisholm Trail Rd.

A 2017 Ford Fusion driven by Darien L. Chapin, 24, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 11:55 p.m. Oct. 18.

700 block of E. F St.

David J. Lockwood, 60, Hillsboro, was backing down a one-way street to collect trash in Hillsboro’s garbage truck at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 21 when he backed into a parked dump truck owned by the city. The truck was parked to the left of the trash truck. Lockwood was maneuvering to avoid trashcans on his right when the collision occurred. The left-rear gate latch of the dump truck was slightly damaged, as was the trash truck’s left-rear shield.

400 block of N. Main St.

Johnnie A. Keller, Salina, reported that roofing material fell on his parked 2016 Subaru Outback at 4 p.m. Oct. 21 at Hutchinson Community College’s welding school, causing minor damage to the vehicle’s paint job. The building itself, in the 400 block of N. Main St., is owned by the city of Hillsboro.

400 block of E. Grand Ave.

Alexander J. Simone, 24, Marion, was pulling his 2010 Ford Focus into a parking spot 11:25 a.m. Saturday at Hillsboro High School when he drove over the curb and flattened a parking sign. The sign was placed upright again and the vehicle returned to its spot prior to officer arrival.

100 block of S. Coble St.

James C. Baker, Hillsboro, was pulling out of a parking spot in his 2005 Dodge Caravan on the east side of S. Coble St. at 4 p.m. Friday when he backed into a 2016 Chrysler owned by Roxanna I. Ross, Marion. Ross was backing out of a spot on the west side of the street.
