These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
US-56/77 south of 330th Rd.
A day and a half afterward, Ronald B. Davis, 55, rural Ramona, told a deputy he ran over a traffic cone in a construction zone with his 2012 Cadillac SRX at 10:30 p.m. June 15.
US-56 west of Old Mill Rd.
Gordon Wiebe, 76, Hillsboro, hit a deer with his 2016 Ford F-250 pickup at 1:30 a.m. June 18.
US-50/77 roundabout
Jeffrey W. Allen, 55, Overbrook, rolled a 2019 Peterbuilt semi-trailer truck onto its side after becoming distracted and overcorrecting while trying to navigate through the US-50/77 roundabout at 3 p.m. June 18.
The semi sustained extensive damage to its front, side, and windshield and had to be towed. No citations were issued.
Alamo Rd. north of 330th Rd.
Sara V. Espinoza, 66, rural Tampa, drove her 2000 Jeep Cherokee into a ditch while distracted by deer in a field at 6:50 p.m. June 19.
Deputy Larry Starkey blamed the accident on inattentive driving but issued no citation.
US-77 north of 30th Rd.
Paul R. Wikoff, 53, Florence, hit a deer with his 2012 Nissan Frontier at 9:24 p.m. June 20.
K-15 north of 250th Rd.
Margie A. Tilton, 62, Durham, hit an animal with her 2017 Mazda MX6 at 11:40 p.m. June 20. Mike Jensen, 69, Durham was a passenger at the time.
