SHERIFF

Indigo Rd. north of 70th Rd.

Renee Gilkey, 34, Hillsboro, hit a deer with her 2016 Ford Fusion at 5:26 p.m. June 22.

US-56 west of Chisholm Trail Rd.[

Kevin Radke, 52, Clay Center, hit a deer with his 2009 Chevy Cobalt at 11:10 p.m. June 23.

120th Rd. west of Diamond Rd.

Tabor College assistant football coach Ozzi Orozco, 28, Hillsboro, hit a deer with his 2012 Dodge Ram 150 at 6:30 a.m. June 24.

Indigo Rd. north of 120th Rd.

Ervin Hein, 62, rural Hillsboro, hit a deer with his 2005 Ford Explorer at 10 p.m. June 24. Carla Hein, 60, of the same address was a passenger in his sport-utility vehicle.

190th Rd. west of Kanza Rd.

Eldora Penner, 70, McPherson, was injured at 3:58 p.m. June 26 when she fell asleep at the wheel and allowed her 2014 Toyota Camry to veer off the left side of the road and into a utility pole and a fence owned by Wilbert Bartel, rural Hillsboro.

She was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.
