These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

140th Rd. east of Pawnee Rd.

Amy Soyez, 38, Marion, hit a dog with her 2018 Subaru Forester at 5 p.m. Jan. 29. The dog, owned by Jerry Olsen, who lives nearby, reportedly ran out into the road.

340th Rd. east of Sunflower Rd.

Iva Kirkland, 27, Herington, hit a deer with her 2011 Ford Fusion at 7 a.m. Jan. 31. Her car had to be towed.

290th Rd. east of Upland Rd.

Ericka Herzet, 22, Marion, hit an owl with her 2015 Ford Edge at 6:44 p.m. Thursday. The owl reportedly flew into her path from a ditch.
