Accident reports released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

290th Rd. west of Nighthawk Rd.

Susan Salamone, 49, Tampa, struck a deer with her 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer at 10:37 p.m. Nov. 1.

190th Rd. east of Limestone Rd.

Steven May, 66, Marion, told deputies he struck a deer at 6:30 a.m. Nov. 3 with his 2005 Honda Accord.

US-56 east of Alamo Rd.

Chelsea Demmitt, 33, Roxbury, told deputies she struck a deer at 6:30 a.m. Nov. 3 with a 2011 Chevrolet Cruz owned by Bennie Holtsclaw of Cedar Point.

US-50 west of Turkey Creek Rd.

Preston Geist, 20, Wichita, struck a deer with his 2013 GMC Sierra at 5:27 a.m. Nov. 4. The vehicle was towed.

US-77 south of 340th Rd.

Robert Davis, 61, Emporia, struck a deer with a Thomas Built Buses bus owned by Emporia USD 253 at 7:27 a.m. Nov. 4. Davis and four passengers, ages 15 to 29, were not injured.

K-15 south of 370th Rd.

A 2000 Buick LeSabre owned and driven by Harold Provance, 79, Abilene, caught fire at 5:17 p.m. Nov. 4. Tampa firefighters and ambulance responded. Deputy Aaron Slater noted damage to the passenger side of the car but could not determine what the vehicle might have struck. Provance did not appear to be not injured but was disoriented and taken to an Abilene hospital. The vehicle was towed.

K-15 south of US-56

Anthony Gardner, 41, Marion, struck a deer with his 2007 Chrysler Sebring at 1:57 a.m. Nov. 5. The vehicle was towed.

Diamond Rd. north of 210th Rd.

Norma Wasemiller, 85, Lehigh, reportedly lost control of a 1995 Ford Ranger at 9:50 a.m. Nov. 5. The truck went into the opposite ditch and rolled on its side. No injuries were reported.

US-50 east of Old Mill Rd.

Anita Truong, 33, Wichita, struck a deer with her 2010 Suzuki Vitara at 7:05 p.m. Nov. 6. Truong and a passenger were not injured. The vehicle was towed.
