According to law enforcement reports released Friday:

Indigo Rd. south of 160th Rd.

A 2012 Buick LaCrosse driven by Kaden Ward, 16, Hillsboro, struck a deer at 2:35 a.m. Sept. 18. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

US-56 north of 275th Rd.

A 2006 Ford Fusion driven by Chase Young, 18, Peck, and a 2004 Ford Ranger driven by Jacob Weber, 24, Newton, were reportedly in a line of cars passing a southbound car they believed to be turning right. Investigating officer Travis Wilson reported the car continued south, making all the cars passing hit their brakes. Young was unable to slow down before hitting Weber’s vehicle in the rear bumper at 4 p.m. Sept. 16. Young’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

US-56 north of 230th Rd.

Kemeyonne Taylor, 21, Junction City, reportedly lost control of a 2013 Dodge Dart he was driving and struck a stop sign at the northeast corner of the intersection of 230th Rd. and US-56, coming to rest in a culvert at 6:17 p.m. Sept. 20. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Hillsboro

200 block of S. Main St.

A Century Link telecommunications box was destroyed by a truck tire at 11 a.m. Saturday at 202 S. Main St. behind Hillsboro Ford when a 1998 Ford pickup driven by Lloyd Funk, 81, Hillsboro, and owned by James Hiebert, struck the box.

200 block of W. Third St.

Wayne Thies, 76, Newton, backed his 2011 GMC Acadia into a parked 2013 Toyota Venza causing damage at 2 p.m. Sept. 17 in the 200 block of W. 3rd St.
