According to law enforcement reports released this week:

HILLSBORO

Birch St. south of Grand Ave.

While backing his 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 out of his driveway at 4 a.m. May 28, Jesse Campbell, 18, hit neighbor Sandra Scheele’s 2007 Pontiac Torrent, parked across the street.

Scheele reported the accident at 6:55 a.m., saying she had heard a noise during the night. Later, according to police, Campbell contacted Scheele and reported the accident.

SHERIFF

150th Rd. west of Indigo Rd.

Stuart Eitzen of Wichita reported that a side mirror was broken and paint scratched on his Ford F150 before 10 a.m. May 28 while it was parked at an auction.

Lakeshore Dr. and Pier Point Rd.

Jerald Stockdale, 88, Marion, backed his 1999 Ford Ranger into a parked 2009 Dodge R15 owned by Daniel Buck of Eureka at 12:45 p.m. May 11.

D St. south of 1st St., Ramona.

Patrick Egan, 59, Burns, was injured when his 1999 Pontiac Grand Am missed a turn and went into a field at 7:20 p.m. May 18. Sheriff’s deputies reported that Egan had been drinking and speeding.

US-56 west of Goldenrod Rd.

A 2015 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Ervin Herman, 81, Hays, struck and killed a dog at 2 p.m. May 19.

US-56 north of 310th Rd.

Driver Rebecca Rocca, 54, Decatur, Nebraska, was killed and passenger Martin Rocca, 55, of the same address, was airlifted to a Wichita hospital after their 2011 Dodge 2500 crossed a center line, hit a sign and a culvert and overturned at 12:33 p.m. May 27.
