Main and A Sites.

On Saturday at 10:15 a.m. Kenneth R. Jost, 85, of Hillsboro was driving his 2002 Ford Ranger pickup north on Main St. Bobby Jones, 39, of Hillsboro was driving his 1999 Dodge Ram pickup east on A St. and failed to yield the right of way, striking the driver’s side of the Ranger. Officer Jessey Hiebert reported the Ranger suffered minor damage, and no injuries were reported.

US-56 near Indigo Rd.

On Oct. 5 at 2:30 p.m., a 2013 Chrysler 200 driven by Amy Krabbe, 42, of Lenexa, was eastbound on US-56 approaching Indigo Rd. Officer Brad Richards reported a vehicle turned east onto the highway from Indigo Rd., causing Krabbe to slow down. The Chrysler was struck from behind by a 2013 Infiniti G37 driven by Justin Nichols, 37, of Blue Springs, Missouri, as he swerved attempting to avoid the collision. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. No injuries were reported.
