Alley in 300 block of Ash St.

Greg Clements, 54, of Canton, struck a gas meter and caused a gas leak at 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 at 306 S. Ash St. while backing his 2006 Chevrolet pickup into his property to load brush and branches he had trimmed.


120th and Goldenrod Rds.

After taking her eyes off the road to adjust a mirror, Ina Carroll, 61, of Florence went off the right side of 120th Rd., overcorrected, and drove into the ditch where she traveled through a pasture fence and hit a large cedar tree in her 2003 Chevrolet sedan at 7:39 a.m. on Sept. 22. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Police reported no injuries.

120th and Diamond Rds.

Donald Rosefeld, 70, of Peabody struck and killed two deer with a 1991 Chevrolet pickup at 8:40 p.m. Sept.19 as he traveled eastbound between Chisholm Trail and Diamond Rds. on 120th Rd. The incident caused damage to the front of Rosefeld’s truck, but it did not need to be towed. Police reported no injuries.

US-56 near milepost 292

While Brad Richards, 40, of Hillsboro was traveling westbound on US-56, a large owl flew into the driver’s side of his 2009 Ford SUV near milepost 292 at 8:05 p.m. on Sept. 24 causing damage to an outside mirror. No injuries were reported.
