John Franklin Wiebe, 79, 115 S. Date St., Hillsboro; backed his 2010 Ford F150 into a parked 2002 Pontiac Grand Am owned by Caitlin Elaine Kopf at 4:55 p.m. Aug. 4 in the parking lot of Casey’s General Store. Kopf was not in her vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Marion police

300 block of East Williams Street

An unknown vehicle struck the passenger side front door of a parked 2000 Ford van owned by Patricia S. Kline of Marion at 12:30 p.m. July 29. No injuries were reported.

Intersection of Third and Main streets

While Debra Kay Coe, 23, 214 N. Second St., Marion, was stopped at a stop sign at 11:55 a.m. Aug. 2, Rebecca A. Makovec, 37, 1969 Yarrow Road, Marion, struck the rear of Coe’s 1989 Pontiac sedan with her 1996 Ford pickup. No injuries were reported.

Sunflower Road north of 170th Road

Cheryl Brewer, 40, of 759 Pawnee Road, Peabody, struck a turkey with her 2004 GMC sedan at 8:55 a.m. July 26. No injuries were reported.

240th Road east of Upland Road

Scott A. Kelsey, 47, of 221 Floral Drive, Hillsboro, backed a 2013 Dodge owned by Flint Hills Rural Electric Cooperative into a 2005 Chevrolet pickup owned and driven by Alan Randal Vogel, 28, of 2349 Upland Road, Marion, at 2 p.m. Aug. 3. No injuries were reported.

Main Street west of Cedar Street, Goessel

Amy Lynn Flaming, 33, of 1265 Eagle Road, Hillsboro, backed up in a 2007 Toyota owned by Patrick A. Flaming, same address, and collided with a 2004 Ford pickup driven by Amy D. Rosefeld, 34, 504 E. Centennial St., Goessel, at 2:20 p.m. Aug. 3. No injuries were reported.

U.S. 56 west of Nighthawk Road

Merle Howard Rothwell, 68, of 410 North St., Wilsey, struck a deer with his 2004 Buick sedan at 10 p.m. Aug. 6. No injuries were reported.
