These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-50 at Nighthawk Rd.

Glen R. George, 68, Lehigh, failed to yield after stopping at 12:34 p.m. Dec. 16 on Nighthawk Rd. and drove his pickup into an eastbound 1999 Chevrolet S10 owned and driven by Douglas W. McElhiney, Peabody, according to a report by deputy Judah Kidd.

Riding in George’s pickup, a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado owned by Tyler L. Miller of Hillsboro, were Cherry A. Miller, 45, of the same Hillsboro address, and Sharon K. George, 70, of George’s Lehigh address.

Both vehicles remained drivable. The Silverado sustained damage to its left rear. The S10 had front end and hood damage.

No tickets were issued.

60th Rd. east of Old Mill Rd.

Hunter L. Wilson, 23, Peabody, hit a deer at 8:45 p.m. Dec. 17 while driving a 2006 Nissan Murano owned by Tammy R. Whiteside of a different Peabody address.

The pickup sustained damage termed disabling to its right front, but no tow truck was called.
